We regret to inform you that recordings of customer service calls were accessed by the criminals responsible for the cyber attack. As a result, we are writing to all of our customers to inform them of this.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The email went on to confirm that those affected may include anyone that contacted the customer services line, with exposed data including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Names;<\/li>\n<li>Addresses;<\/li>\n<li>Birth dates;<\/li>\n<li>Other personal information discussed during a call.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Aftermath of the breach<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The 118 118 Money data breach has led to the usual apologies and breach notifications being sent to victims that we often see in the wake of an event like this.<\/p>\n<p>The notification email states that the company takes data protection matters extremely seriously, but the damage has already been done.
