Advanced Cold-formed Sections data breach: ransomware attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We have been made aware of the Advanced Cold-formed Sections data breach which involves a ransomware attack where electronic systems have been compromised.<\/p>\n

At the time of the information being passed to us, the ransomware attack was ongoing with the authorities advising the company not to pay the demands that had been made. According to correspondence that has been issued to those who may be affected, employee and supplier information may have been stolen as part of the data held for ransom. Some of this information is thought to include private data.<\/p>\n

The attack reportedly occurred on the 8th June 2022 and the company was aware off the ransomware attack shortly thereafter. Information as far back as 2009 may have been accessed and the company had initially confirmed that they were unable to determine exactly who may be affected and what data may have been compromised.<\/p>\n
