We have been fighting in some of the biggest data group actions that have ever taken place, particularly because we have been working in this niche and complex area of law for so long. One of the earliest biggest actions that we have been involved in was the TalkTalk cyberattack<\/strong><\/a> of 2015. The same year saw the major 56 Dean Street Clinic leak that may not have been huge in size but was substantial in impact, given that the HIV statuses of almost 800 patients was leaked. We have been taking on Equifax as a result of their cyberattack<\/strong><\/a> that took place in 2017, and British Airways as result of their cyberattacks<\/strong><\/a> in 2018, which we will go into more detail about below.<\/p>\n

One of the more recent ones was the Virgin Media data leak<\/strong><\/a> that was identified at the start of 2020, affecting some 900,000 people. We represent thousands of victims who are claiming compensation as a result of distress that they have suffered that was caused by the fact that their information was left exposed online for a period of 10 months by Virgin Media.<\/p>\n
