The letters being sent from Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust have reportedly confirmed that a member of staff has been accessing medial records without a legitimate reason to do so. It’s understood that a patient had made a complaint that had then sparked an investigation that revealed the illegitimate access of medical records.
